Crochet 101 with Meg
Ready to learn basic crochet? Never picked up a hook before? Or did you learn from your grandmother or 4H when you were young, and you aren't quite convinced you are doing things correctly? Meg will make sure you have a solid foundation in crochet to help you move forward and try new things!
Learn how to tension your hook, chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet. You will learn how to count stitches, which is the first and last stitch on your project, and how to read a basic pattern and chart.
Materials: US H, I, or J hook. At least 50g of worsted weight cotton, such as Universal Yarns Cotton Supreme. 2 locking stitch markers. All materials are available at Woven Art.
