My First Sweater 2/6/24 Day

$60

Are you ready to learn how to make your first sweater? This class is designed to familiarize students with top-down sweater construction while making the Flax Baby Sweater - you may choose either the 0-6 month or 6-12 month size. Students will learn how to swatch, how to read a schematic, set up top-down raglan increases, pick up stitches for sleeves, fix simple mistakes, and some simple tips and tricks to make your sweater look its best!

This class meets for two session, with a break between weeks for homework to be done. You will get the most out of this class if you do your homework.

The pattern is free through Ravelry, and can be downloaded here.

Students should be comfortable knitting and purling, and should have worked in the round before.
