Beginning Tunisian Crochet Day 9/29

Tunisian crochet is a fun way to switch things up! Sometimes described as a combination of knitting and crochet, Tunisian crochet is its own craft, and has a variety of stitches to learn and experiment with. We will be working on two swatches in class that you can sew together into a hot pad - one stitch per side.
In class we will learn the Tunisian Simple Stitch and the Tunisian Knit Stitch. The Tunisian Purl Stitch will be discussed.
Materials: one skein of Universal Yarn's Cotton Supreme (please have it wound into a ball before class), a locking stitch marker, and a 24" Tunisian crochet hook size I or J.
