New limited edition colorway from our friends at Tributary Yarns in Eureka, California! Each month we are getting in a special color from Tributary Yarns. This year, Tributary is donating a portion of sales to local artists who were displaced by a fire in their small town.
The August colorway - not surprisingly - inspired by the well-known painter Morris Graves. He lived in Humboldt County at the end of his life. This color was inspired by a painting on the cover of the book, Morris Graves Flower Paintings. It is a subtle blend of warm reddish purple, taupe, dark pink and bluish purple.
- Stream Sock base is 85% Superwash Merino and 15% nylon.
- Each 100 gram skein has 394 yards (360 meters).
- The gauge is 28 stitches equals 4 inches on size US 1-3 needles.
