Tussah Tweed is a fine 100% silk with vibrant tweed neps. Many of you may recognize Tussah Tweed from its previous iteration in a twisted hank; it is now wound on a small cone, making it much easier to work with!
We love Tussah Tweed for fine garments such as Ranunculus, or a lovely shawl (maybe a finer version of a Sophie?) Tussah Tweed is processed from the cocoons of wild butterflies allowed to flee the cocoon before it is processed into silk, making it "cruelty-free".
