Tweed Blend & Spin 12/20 weekend

Join us for a Winter Solstice Blend & Spin class!

Blending your own stunning, flecked Tweed batt! We will begin this workshop by introducing students to various blending equipment (drum carder, blending board, and hand cards) to create their optimal speckled spinning fibers. Students will then experiment with different gauges, spinning styles, and plies to achieve their desired tweed result in their handspun yarn.

Advanced beginner - must be able to spin a relatively consistent yarn comfortably

Students should bring: their wheel and all its parts, note taking materials, personal blending equipment (Optional - instructor will provide several for student use). A material fee for fiber and supplies is included in the class fee.
